Clenbuterol HCL Tablets
Clenbuterol HCL Tablets (Astralean) – Product Information
Clenbuterol HCL tablets are used for the prevention and as a long-term bronchodilator for treatment of asthma and other conditions accompanied by a reversible narrowing of the airways, such as chronic obstructive bronchitis. Astralean is also used in the complex therapy of bronchial spasm. In the treatment of asthma doctors should consider concomitant current anti-inflammatory treatment.
Clenbuterol HCL causes an increase in aerobic capacity, central nervous system stimulation, blood pressure, as well as oxygen transportation. It increases the rate at which body fat is metabolized while at the same time the body's basal metabolic rate (BMR) is increased. Astralean is commonly used for smooth muscle-relaxant properties as a bronchodilator and tocolytic.

Warnings and Precautions to be taken when using Astralean Tablets (Clenbuterol Hydrochloride Tablets)
Before using Astralean tablets please inform your doctor about all the medicines that you take including no prescription medications, over the counter medicines and herbal remedies.
Strict medical supervision is required in all cases of Co-administration of Clenbuterol HCl tablets along with other beta-mimetics with bronchodilating effect. Nevertheless, anticholinergic bronchodilator may also be inhaled. Oral administration of tablets is not appropriate for the symptomatic treatment of acute asthma attack.
In the following categories of patients Clenbuterol tablets be used after careful consideration of the risk/benefit, especially at higher doses than recommended:
Patients with poorly controlled diabetes, patients with fresh myocardial infarction. Patients with severe organic cardiac and vascular diseases, phaeochromocytoma in hypertyreoidizme.
In case of acute and rapidly worsening dyspnea (breathlessness), medical assistance should be sought immediately. In the case of long-term use, doctors should consider co-administration of anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. inhaled cortico steroids) to control airway inflammation and prevent long term damage.
If bronchial obstruction deteriorates, it is inappropriate and possibly hazardous to be given higher than recommended doses of beta2-mimetics (e.g. Clenbuterol tablets) for a long time. Regular use of increasing doses of beta2-mimetics to control symptoms of bronchial obstruction can mean loss of control over the course of the disease. In this case, Astralean therapy should be reviewed, and in particular to consider the suitability of anti-inflammatory therapy and thus avoid a patient's possible life-threatening conditions.
Treatment with beta2-mimetics can result in severe hypokalemia. Particular attention is necessary for severe asthma, where this adverse effect may increase the current administration of xanthine derivatives (theophylline), corticosteroids and diuretics. Current hypoxia can increase the effect of hypokalaemia on cardiac activity. In such situations it is recommended to monitor serum potassium.
