Beclate Inhaler is used for prophylactic management of mild, moderate or severe asthma. Beclomethasone is available in the form of an aerosol for oral inhalation. Each actuation delivers Beclomethasone Dipropionate IP 100 mcg suspended in CFC-free propellant in case of a BECLATE-100 Inhaler and 200 mcg in case of a BECLATE-200 Inhaler.

Uses Of Beclomethasone Dipropionate Inhaler
Beclomethasone is available in the form of an aerosol for oral inhalation. It is important to take beclomethasone at evenly spaced intervals between the time you wake up in the morning and the time you go to bed at night. You can get its full effects only after using beclomethasone regularly for several weeks. Beclate Rotacaps are for inhalation use only through the Cipla Beclate Rotahaler. For optimum results, use Beclate Rotacaps regularly.
Beclate Inhaler (Beclomethasone Dipropionate inhaler ) – Dosage
For Adults and children over 12 years of age:
Patients should be given a starting dose of inhaled beclomethasone dipropionate, which is appropriate for the severity of their disease based on the following guidance:
For Mild asthma:
200 to 600 micrograms per day in divided doses.
For Moderate asthma:
600 to 1000 micrograms per day in divided doses.
For Severe asthma:
1000 to 2000 micrograms per day in divided doses.
Children over 4 years of age: Up to 400 micrograms per day in divided doses.
Children should be given a starting dose of inhaled beclomethasone dipropionate, which is appropriate for the severity of their disease.
Warnings and Precautions
This drug should not be used with live virus vaccines or natalizumab because very serious interactions may occur. It is advisable to consult your doctor before using any other medicine, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
Before you take this drug, tell your doctor your entire medical history and also about any prescription and non-prescription medications you are using, especially oral corticosteroids, aspirin, arthritis medication, and estrogen.
