The active ingredient present in Asthalin Rotacaps is Salbutamol Sulphate (Albuterol Sulfate). Each capsule of Asthalin contains the equivalent of 200 micrograms of Salbutamol (Albuterol).
Asthalin Rotacaps – Dosage
Use Asthalin Capsules/Rotacaps as directed by your doctor. Please check the label on the medication for exact dosing instructions. Asthalin Rotacaps (Albuterol Rotacaps) have to be used with a special inhaler called the Cipla Rotahaler. To remove the capsule from the packaging, peel back the foil and tip the capsule out. Do not cut the foil or use anything sharp to remove the capsule. The recommended adult dosage (18 years of age and above) is as follows:
For relief of acute episodes of bronchospasm : 1 Rotacap as a single dose.
To prevent allergen- or exercise-induced asthma : 1 Rotacap, 15 minutes prior to exercise or exposure to allergen
