Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient

The active pharmaceutical ingredients contained in Obeda tablets is Semaglutide.
Each Obeda tablet contains 14 mg of Semaglutide.

Mechanism of Action

Obeda works by mimicking the effects of GLP-1, a naturally occurring incretin hormone that is usually released following a meal.Semaglutide improves the efficiency of incretin function by activating GLP-1 receptors.
Obeda stimulates the secretion of insulin following food, reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver, and helps to make you feel full after food.
This medicine acts by various mechanisms like augmented insulin secretion (glucose-dependent), inhibition of glucagon release and suppressed hepatic gluconeogenesis; thereby reducing both fasting as well as postprandial glucose.
